Set up Wormhole and use every location mode

Start with the guide for your computer, then learn single-point location, route simulation, JavaScript automation, and the fastest way to diagnose a connection problem.

Choose your computer

Both platforms control the same iPhone and iPad features, but their initial connection setup is different.

Windows setup

Install the app, verify Apple device drivers, enable Developer Mode, and make the first USB connection.

From one location to a repeatable scenario

Connection checklist

Four requirements shared by every feature

  1. Use an iPhone or iPad running a supported iOS/iPadOS version.
  2. Enable Developer Mode in Settings → Privacy & Security.
  3. Connect with a USB data cable, unlock the device, and accept the Trust prompt.
  4. Select the correct device in Wormhole before setting, moving, or restoring the location.

Route limitation: automatic route calculation only supports start and destination points within the current country. This does not affect single-point location.
