User Guide

Follow this guide to get the most out of Wormhole Virtual Location.

Install & Run

For Windows users: No extra installation is required for the app itself.

Note: It is highly recommended to install Apple Devices (available on the Microsoft Store here) to ensure the necessary drivers are installed. Make sure Apple Devices can detect your device to avoid connection issues.

For Mac users: Due to Apple App Store sandbox restrictions, a helper tool called Wormhole Device Manager is required. Please follow the on-screen instructions to install it when you first launch the app.

Set Location

Changing your GPS location is seamless: simply browse the map, select your desired destination, and click the Set Location button. Your iPhone or iPad will update its coordinates instantly.

Route Simulation

Simulate realistic movement with Route Simulation:

Switch to the Route Simulation tab.
Select a start point on the map and click Set As Start Location.
Select a destination and click Set As End Location.
Click Calculate Route to generate an optimized path automatically.
Click Start to begin the movement simulation.

Note: Due to map service limitations, automatic route calculation is only supported for routes within the current country.

Wormhole Script

For advanced users, Wormhole Script provides precise, programmable control that goes far beyond traditional GPX files. You can automate complex movement scenarios with custom logic and timing.
