Wormhole Device Manager for Mac

Wormhole Device Manager is required for Mac users. It is not needed on Windows, where device management is included in Wormhole Virtual Location.

Why is this needed?

The Mac App Store app is sandboxed, so Device Manager provides the local USB bridge needed to communicate with your iPhone or iPad.

Connect the iPhone or iPad

  2. Connect it to the Mac with a USB data cable.
  3. Unlock the device and accept the Trust prompt.
  4. Open Wormhole and refresh the device list.

Update or reinstall

Quit older copies of Device Manager before installing the current package. Keep only the copy installed in Applications so the store app always contacts the intended Manager process.
